Dr. Bates received her doctoral training from the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry in 1999. She then completed specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2001.
Dr. Bates' training in pediatric dentistry affords her the ability to focus on the oral health and unique needs of young children. She is passionate about children’s oral health; and therefore, places a great emphasis on early examinations and education.
Dr. Bates is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has the Georgia Board of Dentistry Conscious Sedation Permit. She also holds certificates in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is affiliated with Children's Health Care of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and Egleston where she performs needed dental treatment under general anesthesia for special needs cases.
